Assembly Newsletter October 16 2025

Warmest Baháʼí  Greetings,

The Assembly met on 15th with all nine members in attendance and again on the 29th with 8 members.

On October 4th Election Unit 5 held our unit convention to elect delegates for the 183 National convention. The elected delegates are: Laurie Cropley, Jacque Tagaban, Soha Azargan, Adam Bauer, and George Holly.

On the 11th of October the community held a fantastic taco party - thank you to everyone who worked to plan and organize the event. Jacque Farnsworth sang her fun songs, a grand time was had by all.

Next week we celebrate the Twin Holy days with fun, food, and games on Tuesday night at the Parkshore Clubhouse, and on Wednesday is Popcorn Movie night at Smith Hall - invite your friends to join us.

At the September 29 Assembly meeting the Assembly resolved to donate 100 dollars to the Boarding School Healing Coalition

The Assembly continues to consult on a process to review and approve travel requests from the Baháʼí Fund.

The Faith in the Future conference continues to be planned, The date is November 22nd and the JACH has been reserved as a venue. Stay tuned for more details.

A big shout out to the crew who has been working diligently to maintain the yard at the Steep Place rental unit. - Next time you're at the property for Feast or devotions be sure to check out the new plantings. - there is even a new compost bin in the back yard ;-)
