Martyrdom of the Báb
Friday is a Holy Day, when work should be suspended - the Community will observe the Martyrdom of the Báb starting Friday noon at the Auke Rec Raven Shelter - we will start with a pot luck lunch at noon and commemorate the Holy Day at 1:00 pm.
“O wayward generation!” were the last words of the Bab to the gazing multitude, as the regiment prepared to fire its volley, “Had you believed in Me every one of you would have followed the example of this youth, who stood in rank above most of you, and would have willingly sacrificed himself in My path. Travel north on Egan Dr/Glacier Highway approximately 13 miles to Point Louisa Road. Turn left. Parking for the picnic area is on the left within a half mile of Glacier Highway.
